The 30ft drop behind me definitely made the run-up more difficult.

0:15: A very fun tree line. I'm extremely bad at + scared of underbars, so this was some excellent practice for me.

0:24: Some strides, an 11ft equi-level, and a 13ft +drop. Really fun, not that hard.

0:33: A really fun cat, plus some traversing. Extremely enjoyable spot to play around with

Huge thanks to Roldolfo and the Santa Cruz guys for such a fun day! On the big side, and pretty scary. I've always avoided big down precisions, and have been working on building the technique/strength/guts to land them well.

0:11: Some consecutive 10-11 ft. I've been looking to try consecutive precisions for a while now, and was blown away that I was able to get this right away. As is always the case it's hard to tell from the footage, but these were big gaps.

0:17: 11+ ft with down. One of those really awkward gaps that you would never stop to think was possible, unless you were looking for really hard stuff in the first place. Pretty easy once I got it, so I worked the starting distance smaller to try and make it harder.

0:25: A big up-gap, with 3ft of tidal pool to fall into. Another one of those gaps that I would never have even thought about before, let alone try. Amazing how scary it was to go for, and I'm really proud I did (not to mention that I nailed it first try). Second try wasn't quite as good, obviously =)

I know all 5 of you watching this are probably getting bored of precisions by now. I'll try to mix it up next time. I had the place to myself last week, so I decided to grab some quick shots of some stuff I was working on. Worked my side flips a LOT, and am really happy with the progress I made. Any help is appreciated, though I'm pretty sure I just need to swing my leg more.

Batteries died about half way through the night, so…

Friday night open gym at Crossfit Marin!
