Don't get me wrong, your enthusiasm and initiative is great, and it's awesome you want to get to know the community. Here's some links that speak to BApk's purpose: http://baparkour.ning.com/page/why-baparkour and another one describing jams: http://baparkour.ning.com/page/bapk-trainings-and-jams.
Nick, I'm honestly trying to perfect not showcase, and improve on what skills I have. That's why school is a good place to work because I can film with Chase and figure out what I'm doing wrong compared to him or others that are better such as Levi or Nosole. I'm not one to show off to show off, so I think there was a misunderstanding there.
Nice to meet you, but you're holding a jam specifically to showcase your skills? This is probably a bit of a conflict here as BApk events are oriented more toward community development.
I know that there are a TON of traceurs out in Dublin/Pleasanton. Post up at SFparkour.com/forum to let all the local guys in your area know as well (Raul, Chase, Ivan, there are a bunch of guys out that way)
