Event Description

Hi everyone. I'm looking for 5-8 parkour artists for a film that will be shooting Tues. the 27th and Wed. the 28th of April in the East Bay and in SF. Please contact me if you are interested the story is as follows:

Jack answers a call that was meant for someone else, and decides to take what's theirs in a drop. Jack is a thief and in the end he gets what is coming to him. Or does he? It's a psychological thriller with a twist.

Let me clarify that the parkour artists in this film are not thieves. They get their camera stolen by Jack who does not practice parkour.

Please contact me if you are interested. You will get a copy of the film, and will be fed during shooting.

Hey guys,

Production has been postponed due to weather improbability. It will actually be the last few weeks of May. I'm very excited for all of your responses and posts, and appreciate your patience while we secure production for more predictable weather.

I wrote to the listed email a week ago and haven't seen a response yet. Hope others have better luck.

sounds like a cool idea, so what will the traceurs be doing in the short film??

Damnit, can't make weekdays, being in the South bay, but if you guys can film sometime on the weekends I'd gladly make it. My brother and I (mostly my brother) have some acting experience too, if that helps.

Jack does not parkour. The people doing parkour actually get their camera stolen by Jack. I understand that concern though.

...not very keen on parkour practitioners being depicted as criminals, as one can imagine.
Much more fond of them being heroes with what could be perceived as super-abilities, obviously (ie: better District B13 or Prince of Persia, than Casino Royal and your next zombie-traceurs-movie).

Anyway: welcome to BApk!
