Event Description

Massive West Coast Jam! WRAP-UP here!

Saturday May 23rd during Memorial Day weekend BAparkour and PKCali would like to bring ALL the West Coast communities together for a Jam in San Francisco. San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area are among the best places for parkour in the nation. There are training grounds galore and friendly hosts to show you around. We hope to bring traceurs from Southern California, Washington, Oregon, British Columbia and beyond to San Francisco in order to establish a stronger bond throughout the West Coast.

On May 23rd there will be an all day session spanning five locations including WWII bunkers, a wooded trail run, school campuses, and concluding with a big barbecue at Golden Gate Park. On the days surrounding the main jam there will be satellite sessions that anyone can attend.

That's great, Josh! Glad about the 60% chance...

If you're looking for more travel companions, you can give a shout to the Seattle and Portland guys (and girls); check out the dedicated threads here:

Since you are the one driving the furthest, you may also inspire some of them...

Okay I'm in Vancouver, WA i am about 60% sure i am attending this event. i will be driving down on the thursday or friday before the jam. I have a car with 3 (2 if i can convince my other friend to go) extra seats if people need rides, preferably someone who knows how to drive stick so I don't have to drive the whole 10 hours. Coming back up sunday or monday. anyone who is interested let me know

Thanks, Amadraeus!
Separate event here.
Please consider if you'll have to spent also Sunday night in the area: RSVP and arrange details with the specific event organizers.
Great idea!

Hey guys, this is great 'n I want to help the rally. CrossFit Marin is going to have a FREE sleepover/slumber party the night of Friday the 22nd for you out of town bums that need a place to sleep. I think the gym can accomdate about, say around 16-20 people sleeping on the gymnastics floor strip and mats, depending on how much personal space you prefer. There are three bathrooms, but only one shower. We can bounce around in the gym that evening, if you like to jam-jam, and maybe watch a parkour movie on the projector while chomping down some pizza in anticipation of Saturday's festivities. The address is 412 Tamal Plaza, Corte Madera, 94925. It's located off of the 101 about ten minutes north of the Golden Gate bridge. You can find the google map link from www.CrossFitMarin.com. Thanks for setting this one up, BA Parkour.

Cheers!
