Berkeley Thursdays at MLK Jr. Middle School

This is the weekly jam/training session. For a change of pace, we will be at Martin Luther King, Jr. Middle School, 1781 Rose Street. Closest BART is North Berkeley. From the station, head north on Sacramento for about 4 blocks, turn right onto Rose (toward hills) and go until you see the school on your left- Grant St. is on the east side of the school.

We'll meet at the seating area at the end of Grant Street. (inside the gate, to the left of the Edible Schoolyard garden), warm up, possibly do some light conditioning, then have open jamming for another 2 hours or so.

We will have some directed exercises with emphasis on building a solid foundation for safe and progressive learning. This is recommended for all skill levels but especially important for novices and those new to physical training.
